Torricino is found in Irpinia where the territory is characterized by a plateau carved with valleys and punctuated by mountains, among which numerous rivers and streams wind, in the province of Avellino in Tufo.
The economy of this area is mainly based on the production of Greco di Tufo, a renowned white wine throughout the world, which owes its peculiar taste to the soils of Tufo which are rich in sulfur.
In addition to the Greco di Tufo DOCG, other wines produced in this area are Taurasi DOCG, Fiano di Avellino and Aglianico.
